Club Store Packaging

Club packaging of non-food retail items has become more popular over the last few years as many of the club stores, including Costco, Sam’s Club, and BJ’s, have set a new standard for the packaging and presentation of retail products.  For Costco there is a standard fold over “cold-seal” card size referred to as an A4.  This foldover card captures the flange of the blister and “traps” it, giving it a clean presentation.  Assemblies Unlimited prints the large format foldover blister cards, forms the custom blister, cold seals the card, then designs and prints the corrugated tray all under one roof which helps minimize touch points and transportation.

Club Stores have rigid guidelines for contract packaging especially goods that are blister or clamshell packaged.  Some options include PDQ trays with product “soldier stacked” for a clean looking display, large format trap blister packaging, value packs, twin packs, multi-packs, bundle wrapping, and shrink wrapping.

The FDA requires date and lot coding visible on food category Club Packs, which are also sometimes necessary on non-food retail products.  We can help you with design, sourcing all packaging materials locally, and then manage your food or non-food club store packaging project from start to finish.  You supply your product to be packaged along with the artwork, and Assemblies Unlimited will do the rest.
