Shrink Wrap Packaging

Shrink wrapping is one of the best ways to seal and protect your retail package while at the same time providing a polished, upscale “look” to your product. Since, 1993, Assemblies Unlimited has secondary packaging experience shrink wrapping retail packages and can help you with your next contract packaging project.

We have the necessary machinery to shrink wrap any size package, including a manual L-Bar, semi-automatic, or fully automatic machine for projects with higher volumes.

We use only the best shrink film with superior clarity to ensure that your package will look clean and crisp. We can begin production 24 hours after receiving your materials and can provide a quick turnaround as required by your due dates.

Products that are shrink-wrapped include:

  • CD’s/DVD’s
  • Board Games
  • Software
  • Cosmetics
  • Twin-Pack Aerosols
  • Boxes of Candy
  • Consumer Electronics
  • Office Supplies
  • Calendars
  • Posters
  • Books
  • Frames
  • Gift Sets

Pricing considerations when quoting a shrink wrap project:

  1. Overall size of package to be wrapped. (L x W x H)
  2. Volume: How many units will you need completed during this specific production run? (Our minimum run for shrink wrapping is 10K units)
  3. Final Pack-Out. Once your product is shrink wrapped, how many units did you want packed into a master shipping carton?
  4. Timelines and lead times. When do you need us to begin your project, and when would you like us to complete the entire project?

Made the process for us, fast and efficient!

We’ve worked with Jim DeKosta for over a year now – since our product was just a concept. Since that time, we’ve gone through product development and production as well as packaging concept, development, testing and production. Jim has always made the process for us, fast and efficient. Our experience was further challenged by the supply chain disruptions driven by COVID. Jim once commented that in his role, packaging, they’re always the last mile in the supply chain. All the problems that cause delays upstream in the supply chain flow downstream so that when AUI receives the products for packaging – every delay short and long accumulates and the urgency to ‘pack and ship’ becomes even more urgent. All I can say – given these strange times and unpredictable supply chains, you can’t do better than having someone like Jim/AUI in your corner getting you to market.

Able to hit our very tight deadline!

We had a large inventory of cans that we needed relabeled with our new images. We spoke with over 10 companies across the US, all turned us away due to the labor that would be required to remove our existing labels. We were referred to Assemblies by another vendor of ours and I am sorry we even wasted time with any other contract packaging company. From the first day we met their team was in close communication from start to finish. They were also able to hit our very tight deadline we were requesting with no issues. They are very easy to work with, friendly, and took on a challenge with a smile. I look forward to many more projects with them.
